(Familiar) is a documentary of my Mother’s house as an archive of childhood objects reflecting on physical and psychological containments between the home, objects, and its subjects. The sound features recordings of hit love songs from damaged cassette tapes found in the basement. Their lyrics are recomposed, floating above an inter-object love story.
